Jim Hunt w/ The Spin Band

We have a killer gig lined up for you this week at the Jam Factory, featuring the extraordinary tenor saxophonist, Jim Hunt! Jim has been furiously busy (aside from - for some reason - over the last 18 months!) performing and recording all over the world, pretty much consistently for years. He is one of the most stylistically versatile musicians in the country and this - coupled with his virtuosic abilities - has seen him work with such diverse A-listers as:

Incognito; Primal Scream; Anthony Braxton; Brand New Heavies; Jim Mullen; Noel Gallagher; Amy Winehouse….

Jim’s saxophone playing ranges from the muscular (Brecker-esque) to the tender (Getz-esque) so this gig promises the gamut of emotions. Please do not miss this!

The Jam Factory is continuing to work towards making each Spin experience more and more wholesome in terms of vibe, food, drinks and general comfort. Little by little, the ’Spin Hang Out’ is being ‘winterised’ so as to make this area viable throughout the dark months! The last gig with Julian Nicholas at the Jam Factory was right up there in terms of vibe (as anybody there will attest) and this gig with Jim Hunt bodes similarly!
