One of the foremost contemporary alto players in New York, Will Vinson returns to these shores as part of a European tour. He brings with him a stellar band featuring one of the heaviest guitar players working in New York at the moment, Lage Lund (winner of the prestigious 2005 Thelonious Monk competition). On bass is the very excellent Rick Rosato and on drums, Jochen Rueckert, widely regarded as one of the leading jazz drummers in NY at present. Will has a new album out recorded live at the legendary NY club 'Smalls'.
