Celebrating Joni Mitchell feat. Hattie Whitehead

Following the success of the last gig of 2022, ‘Celebrating Joni Mitchell’, we have organised a second show with the same personnel, performing the great songs from Joni’s ‘jazz period’. In particular, the band recreated much of the live album ‘Shadows & Light’ which featured many of Joni’s ‘big’ songs, such as ‘Amelia’, Coyote’, Black Crow and ‘Hejira’.  (If anybody doesn’t know this album, we’d highly recommend you check it out: stunning performances by a totally stellar band!).

Taking on the role of Joni Mitchell, Hattie Whitehead has all the bases covered: not only does she deliver the songs with the conviction, sincerity and beauty of Joni…but she also plays guitar in an authentic Joni-esque manner!! Hattie will, again be backed by a further 6 musicians!!
